Our client is one of the elite offshore law firms with a long heritage in the Caribbean and an exceptional reputation around the world. They have strong relationships with the leading onshore firms in London and New York and as a result are instructed on some of the largest and most complex transactions in the offshore world.
The firm's global finance team is spread across Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean ensuring that they are able to advise on offshore matters around the world. They have a strong pipeline of work that is set to grow over the coming months and years, particularly from their financial institutions client base. Successful candidates will enjoy a varied work load of structured finance transactions including everything from vanilla debt offering through to securitisations and structured products on behalf of clients across Europe and North America. In addition to fee earning work, there will be regular opportunities to participate in business development.
This position will be based in George Town, Grand Cayman.
In order to be considered for this role you will:
- Be a UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada* qualified solicitor or barrister, with approximately 3-8 years' post-qualification experience
- Have demonstrable expertise in one or more of the following: DCM issuance, note programmes, securitisations, structured products
- Have worked at a top 20 law firm
