For our client, the world´s leading blockchain trading company behind the world´s largest digital asset exchange, we are recruiting a Senior Regulatory Advisor to support the Futures Business. The great mission of our client is to accelerate cryptocurrency adoption and to increase the freedom of money. It is a remote position, being part of an international Compliance department.

About the role:

As Senior Regulatory Advisor your main focus areas will be (not limited to) to support and drive the development and implementation of business legal and regulatory compliance strategy and contribute to the development of the general business strategy and act as contact point for business development, company legal and compliance team to manage legal and compliance efforts in response to matters encountered by the business. Besides, you will advise on new product launches, guide acquisition strategy, anticipate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws relevant to substantive areas to provide strategic advice and foster compliance.

About you:

  • At least 8 years of regulatory experience in financial institutions with experience applying for and acquiring derivatives licenses globally
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating third party legal agreements including franchise agreements, financial service partnerships, SLA's, trusts
  • Develop extensive subject matter experience in major regulations (eg. MIFID, EMIR, SFTR, FMIA, EBA, MiCA, and any other applicable rules and regulations)
  • Business fluency in English, any other language is considered as a plus
