About the role;
Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel for Europe, this role will be primarily responsible for leading the legal support on the company's Operations activity across the EMEA region. This will involve all commercial matters related to the procurement (supply chain) function, drafting and negotiating key contracts for maintenance and reactive services, as we all as leading on all security and facilities management matters.
This is a significant role and will offer a broad remit, with the expectation of providing strategic support to the business, attending negotiations with third party vendors, being a key risk advisor and also supporting on company compliance and governance issues, should this be of interest.
The ideal candidate will be 5-10 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm and with experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment. You will require good knowledge of commercial transactions with relevance to supply chain matters and/or services agreements. Multi-jurisdictional experience including working with global external counsel will be highly advantageous. You will need to be commercially astute, confident working autonomously and have the presence to stand your ground when required.
