An exciting opportunity has arisen for an M&A lawyer to join an exciting and ambitious international company.
Responsibilities will include leading and managing all corporate development projects including M&A, greenfield/brownfield development and construction; handling operational matters for other group functions, handling corporate legal matters e.g. board meeting and approval processes; manage relationship and engagement with external lawyers and other service providers in multiple jurisdictions; manage and give guidance to more junior members of the team.
To be successful you must have a strong academic background and trained at a highly regarded law firm with substantial experience in M&A transactions. You will have knowledge and experience working with international laws and cross border transactions. Ideally you will have also completed an in-house secondment or currently be working in-house. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and become an integral part of the legal team.
