My client, an international investment bank, is looking to recruit a junior/mid-level lawyer to join their lean legal team in their London office. I have been exclusively instructed on this permanent hire and I am looking to speak with strong finance lawyers who have experience in either the DCM, Derivatives or wider Structured Finance space.
My client is interested in lawyers who have trained and worked at either a Magic/Silver Circle or US firm and the successful candidate will ideally have completed an in-house secondment at a leading bank.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bright and driven lawyer who wants to take their career in-house and work as an integral part of an international Global Markets legal team. My client has noted that there will be significant promotion opportunities for the successful candidate who will regularly work alongside senior stakeholders and the business.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a breadth of diverse and top quality work and will be expected to work across a number of matters at any one time. This team does a lot of notes work, repackaging work, regulatory work and drafting work on a variety of contracts relating to fixed income, structured products and derivatives.
My client fosters a superb learning culture and its lawyers regularly fly from various international offices to the global HQ to take part in leadership and development courses as well as to enhance their legal skillsets.
If you are an ambitious finance lawyer at a leading law firm and you have made the informed decision that you now want to build a long-term career in-house, I would be very keen to speak with you.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
