My client, a multi-award-winning insurtech, is looking for a strong commercial lawyer to join its rapidly growing organisation. I have been exclusively instructed on this fantastic opportunity which is reporting directly into the General Counsel.

The successful lawyer will have gained solid exposure in the data protection and IP space and will also be well versed in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Familiarity with insurance (e.g. binding authority agreements) would be beneficial but candidates are not expected to be insurance law or regulatory experts. The role holder will work hand in glove with the General Counsel while advising the organisation's senior stakeholders.

Given how rapidly the business is expanding, my client is looking for a lawyer who will be comfortable in taking on a good level of responsibility and be confident in liaising with various stakeholders on a regular basis. As this is a new position, the successful lawyer will be encouraged to make the role their own as the business grows internationally.

I am keen to speak with common law qualified solicitors or barristers who have ideally, worked at a large law firm and/or as an in-house lawyer with an international business. My client is open on PQE level but given the level of responsibility and expectations that will come with this position, the successful candidate will ideally have 3 years PQE or have gained substantial, relevant pre-qualification experience.
