Court of Protection Lawyer in Birmingham
Our client is a leading UK law firm with offices across the country working together as one collaborative national team.
The firm's specialist Court of Protection team in Birmingham deals with the full remit of Court of Protection work to include; management of financial affairs for individuals who lack mental capacity to make their own decisions and a professionally managed Deputyship service to clients.
This thriving team are known for their professionalism in being able to effectively balance the emotive nature of their work, the needs of their clients and the specific requirements of the Court. They pride themselves on providing excellent service in a swift and effective way whilst dealing with highly sensitive and often complex cases.
Our client would expect a Lawyer within this team to be able to take responsibility for their own caseload as well as assisting other lawyers on more complex matters. The role will include; applications for the appointments of Deputies, Statutory Will applications, administration and management of financial affairs for individuals lacking capacity, progression of cases, researching and preparing advice and working closely with clients, Counsel and experts.
This role will benefit for client contact from the outset and also involve business development and taking part in events both locally and nationally.
