Our client is a leading insurance and financial institution (non-listed) with significant operations across the globe. Due to business needs, they are seeking a Company Secretary (Assistant Manager / Senior Officer) to join their regional company secretarial function here in Hong Kong.
Your New Role
You would be responsible for handling a full spectrum of company secretarial matters arising from the operation of the business (inc. drafting board resolutions and arranging board and shareholder meetings). You would work directly with the Senior Management and CEO and be regarded as a trusted advisor to the business. You would be involved in ensuring regulated company secretarial records for the company and its subsidiaries in accordance with relevant Companies Legislation, as well as timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings with Companies Registry and relevant regulators.
What you will need to succeed
The ideal candidate is qualified company secretary with 5+ years of corporate secretarial experience working in HK company (listed/private), FI or insurance company. The candidate must also be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Fluency in both Chinese and English languages is a must.
