Our client, a City law firm with a highly regarded litigation practice is seeking an associate with general commercial litigation experience but that also has a keen interest (albeit experience in these areas is not necessary at this time) in at least one of the following areas:
- Media law, including defamation, freedom of expression, privacy and contentious IP;
- Human rights, including business and human rights (the Ruggie Principles) and ESG;
- Contentious data protection; and
- Contentious art and cultural property.
The reason the candidate is not required to have experience in these areas is because the media litigation team are willing to train and support the candidate in those areas.
The ideal candidate will be between 2-8 PQE within the commercial litigation field and will have a strong academic background.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
