What was your first ever job?

I started working in my uncles’ supermarket when I was 16. I used the money from this to get my driving license.

 

What's the best place to go if you really want to find out what's going on in the office?

“Afterwork Drinks” and I think in the kitchen where the coffee is!

 

What do you do at weekends?

I spend time with my family. With two little children it is never boring.

 

Where were you born?

I was born in Lübeck – near Hamburg.

 

What is your most precious possession?

My family and my own drive to give my best every single day.

 

What is your favourite restaurant?

There are so many good restaurants in Frankfurt, but my favourite one is Bittburger at the Alte Oper.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you can give someone?

Always be yourself!

 

What is your favourite film?

Green Mile and 50 First Dates. I could watch these two films every day.

 

What is the best thing about your job?

To meet clients and candidates from across the world. Every day is different!

 

What is the toughest thing about your job?

The toughest thing in my job is when a candidate does not pass their final stage interview

 

Have you got any hidden talents?

I can play the guitar.

 

What book are you currently reading?

The Beach (Der Strand) from Alex Garland.

 

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two luxury items would you take with you?

My razor and my toothbrush.
